Buddy Landel in Jim Crockett Promotions

Wrestling reuses names and nicknames on a regular basis whether it's Stan Stasiak using a predecessor's name or the various versions of "The Hollywood Blondes." Although Ric Flair rose to fame as as "The Nature Boy" (even defeating the original "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers for the right to use the name), that didn't stop Buddy Landel from taking the nickname also. Here's my look at Landel's career. Years ago, I also wrote about what could have been one of wrestling's greatest angles- "The Battle of the Nature Boys."
